Greeting from Moldova

Dear friends! On behalf of Low Vision Centre, and on behalf of visually impaired people and their families in Moldova, we would like to thank you for all support you gave us in 2016. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

. First of all I would like to congratulate all of you for supporting Low Vision Centre and all social and vulnerable persons in Moldova! Due to your support, I mean not only material one, The United Nations in Moldova marked LOW VISION Association, with awards for outstanding achievements in human rights in Moldova in 2016, and for outstanding activity on social inclusion of persons with visual impairments on both sides of Nistru River.   
Representing Low Vision Centre; Tatiana Ghidirimshi, director and doctor, Ludmila Zalutco, nurse, Tatiana Chistol, doctor, Hans Bjørn Bakketeig, leader og Help Moldova, and  student Evelina.
Organized since 2004 each year on the occasion of International Human Rights Day, the UN Gala of Human Rights Awards highlights and awards the most valuable, innovative, effective and participatory initiatives and actions to protect and promote human rights in Moldova.
The award consists from diploma and 1000 US dollars. For the money, on December 27.  we intend to organize a Christmas Party and invite our beneficiaries.

This is a big appreciation and big input to continue our common work! On behalf of Low Vision Centre, and on behalf of visually impaired people and their families, we would again like to thank you for all your support!
